Every oval in this bag is wild berry pomegranate: sweet, juicy berry up front with a tangy pomegranate finish, one of the most distinctive pairings in the Bubs lineup. No mixed flavors and no other candy competing for space.
New to Swedish foam candy?
It is softer and airier than any gummy, closer to a mousse than a chew, and the oval shape carries the fruit flavor from first piece to last. A pick and mix candy wall favorite that doubles as a vegan fruit snack.

Best candy hands down
I cut them in fourths, and eat probably five 1/4s per day. I use them as a diet aid...killing (or satisfying) my appetite. Lost six pounds my first month!
Item was as described.
Candy was fresh aromatic and delicious
These taste so good. 😊 be careful though they are addictive 😋

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I ordered this candy, but I was pleasantly surprised. The texture is wonderfully soft, almost like a big gummy treat, but without being sticky. It has just the right amount of sweetness to satisfy my cravings without overwhelming me with a sugar rush. The pieces are quite large, so one is usually enough, yet it’s hard to resist grabbing just one more when I see them tucked away in the cabinet. I also appreciate that the ingredients are pretty straightforward, which makes it easier to indulge without guilt. Overall, this candy is definitely worth trying if you're looking for something different than the typical options at the grocery store.
If you love gummies but you don’t eat gelatin or you’re looking for a vegan alternative you’re going to enjoy them. They have a great fruity berry flavor and the texture is semi firm and fresh. These gummies really fill the gap of using animal based gelatin with a more natural flavor and texture. Shelf life is amazing. They don’t go stale the day after opening. The quality is unique to that of a confectioner.
These Bubs Swedish Candy Wild Berry Pomegranate Ovals from Try New Treats are great! They arrived in good condition in a resealable pouch to keep them fresh.I've tried bubs one other time and these surpassed my expectations. The flavor is a wonderfully fruity and sweet flavor without being too sweet. The texture is soft, fluffy, and slightly chewy. These quality treats were a hit with our whole family!Whether you have tried bubs before or not, I highly recommend these.
These wild berry pomegranate ovals are a really fun treat. The texture is one of the best parts. They’re soft and chewy with a slightly fluffy feel that makes them stand out from typical gummy candy. The flavor is just as good. It has a nice balance of sweet and fruity with a light tartness from the pomegranate that keeps it from being overly sugary. I found them genuinely delicious and easy to keep reaching for.I’m usually very impressed by Swedish candy, and this one definitely lives up to that reputation. The quality feels a step above what you normally find, and the resealable bag is great for keeping them fresh between snacking sessions.
I really enjoyed these candies. The texture is firm but squishy in your mouth—a morphing of a marshmallow and a gummy. Each piece is fairly large, so I get five or six bites out of one. One or two pieces and my snack craving is satisfied. I like the mild pomegranate-berry flavor, and more importantly, they aren’t overly sweet and don’t stick to your teeth.
These bubs candies from Try New Treats come in a resealable 8 ounce bag. Bubs are oval coin-like candies that have a soft, almost marshmallow-like texture. They are gelatin-free and vegan. The candies are fresh with a lightly sweet berry flavor that is delicious. Just a few of the pieces are filling and satisfying with around 8 servings per bag. While the price of about $13.50 is a bit expensive for a small bag, the taste and quality make them a great special treat.
The texture is ok, not heavily scented but I was underwhelmed by the taste. It didn't taste like pomegranate berry to me but I will say that others didn't mind the flavor. They were fresh with a nice firmness and a decent portion came in the bag but on the pricier side.
These BUBS are yummy candies in a rather unique flavor - berry pomegranate - with a distinctive texture. The Amazon page calls them "foam," and that's pretty accurate; it's difficult to describe, they're midway between a marshmallow and a Swedish fish. The candies are large, several bites in each piece.I enjoyed this candy, particularly the flavor. I appreciate that they are gluten-free and vegan (so, no gelatin). They do contain coconut, so be aware of that if you have an allergy (I could not taste any coconut, but the label says it's there). The candy comes in a resealable bag.For me, the only negative is the price, which is high I assume because the candy is imported from Sweden. At over $27/lb, I don't know if I will order this product again.
I loved the Bubs Wild Berry Pomegranate Ovals. I have never tried any imported candies like these. The flavor is great and not too sweet. They are chewy, which I was not expecting. I don't eat a lot of sugar, so I stretch these out to one or two a day. Plus, they last longer that way. The Bubs oval candy is plant-based, naturally colored, and made without artificial flavors or dyes. I am really enjoying these.
This candy is good. It didn't stick to my teeth like regular gummy candies and that makes it better -- the candy is more like a cross between soft taffy and marshmallow. Each candy is impressed with the name "Bubs" but some of mine were semi-melted. They still tasted great. The candy is larger than a quarter. I didn't measure them; we ate the whole bag so fast I never got around to that. The seller photo shows a bag of candy with oval shapes and circles, but all of mine were the oval shapes.
I actually like these Swedish candies a lot. They have a mild flavor that doesn't taste to me like pomegranates. To me they have a sort of nondescript berry flavor. In other words, they taste sort of berryish to me, but I wouldn't be able to tell you what berry they taste like It's a pleasant flavor, through, that I enjoy a lot.I find them sweet enough for a nice treat, without being overly or cloyingly sweet. They remind me a little bit of gummi bears, but with a creamier or maybe slightly powdery feeling texture. It's hard to describe their texture, maybe like a cross between gummi bears and marshmallows. I definitely like them very much more than either gummi bears or marshmallows.I like them so much that I wish there were more of them in the package. I find them a little expensive for the number of candies in the package. But I like the flavor so much, it could be a little bit addictive and worth the price.
I love that the zip-lock bag came securely sealed and tamper proof, and the candies are fresh and flavorful. The outer surface of the candy is dry, so no worries getting your hands sticky, and the texture is like a gummy-marshmallow, still very chewy but not as firm as a traditional gummy. I would describe the flavor as a berry vanilla, and more creamy than tart. Definitely sweet but not overly. I'm also a huge fan of coconut oil, which is an ingredient. If you like chewy, fruity candies, I think you'll love these!
We had so much fun with these! All the kids were loving that they look like tongues. And the adults were enjoying that they were not overly sweet. They taste kind of like swedish fish, but have a little bit of a more marshmallowy texture. There is a hint of berry flavor, but it is subtle and very pleasant. You could eat a lot of these without even realizing it. Of course, the real fun is the shape and the color. We saw hopescope review these and we've been wanting to try them ever since.
This looked interesting so I thought we'd give it a try. Four members of my household and my mother-in-law tried them, and these were the results.Me: Nice flavor, not very strong, but enough to enjoy. The texture of the candy was enjoyable, sort of like a Jelly Baby but a little softer. I'd definitely eat them again, but I don't think it would be something I'd seek out. I'd give them an 8/10.11-year-old: Enjoyed them, but mostly agreed with my assessment. Also gave them an 8/10.16-year-old: Said he didn't like them, gave them a 4/10, but ate half the bag so I'm increasing that to a 7/10.Wife: Did not like the flavor at all. The texture of the candy wasn't at all pleasant to her either. 0/10 for her, but that's not surprising to me since I like a lot of foods that she doesn't.Mother-in-law: Also enjoyed them. She gave them about 7/10 as well.Overall, I thought these were quite tasty, but as with any candy it's going to be a matter of individual preferences. I love Jelly Babies, Swedish Fish, and other gummy-type candy, but my wife is more of a chocoholic and that probably tempered her opinion of them.
These are yummy, the texture reminds me of a dried, but not stale marshmallow, but the taste is fruity and sweet. The taste is similar to that of swedish fish yet also unique at the same time. The shapes are pretty and fun. They look like tongues and they are not too hard and don't stick to your teeth. They have the right amount of chewiness. I have no problem completing the taste test with these and would for sure buy again.
I took a chance on these without really knowing what to expect, and I’m glad I did! They have a nice fruity berry flavor with a little tang, but they aren’t overwhelmingly sweet. The texture is soft and chewy with a light foam-like feel that makes them stand out from regular gummies. (They’re on the opposite end of the spectrum from Gummy Bears — closer to Swedish Fish, but even lighter and foamier and less overly sweet.) The candy tasted fresh, and the resealable bag kept them soft and chewy until I finished them. If you like chewy fruit candy and want something a little different, I’d definitely recommend these!
This item arrived in a sealed zip-top bag to preserve freshness. These candies had a very pleasant fruity fragrance upon opening the package. The texture is somewhere between a gummy and a marshmallow, chewy without making your jaw hurt. The flavor is a sweet berry with just a hint of tart pomegranate to it. Each piece is fairly good-sized compared to similar candies I've had, so one or two satisfies my sweet tooth pretty quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by how good these are!
As a Gramma always hunting for cute, homemade-looking Easter treats for the grandbabies (without the sugar crash or artificial junk), I grabbed these Bubs Vegan Wild Berry Pomegranate Ovals – 8 oz bag of authentic Swedish candy that comes in a soft, almost marshmallow-like gummy form and tastes just like Swedish Fish but with a sweet-tangy berry twist. These are a delightful 5-star find: super soft and chewy (closer to marshmallow than typical hard gummies), bright wild berry-pomegranate flavor that kids go crazy for, and completely vegan/gelatin-free – a much healthier-feeling alternative for Easter baskets. The ovals are cute little shapes, easy for tiny hands, and the resealable bag keeps them fresh for days of decorating and nibbling.Cool history lesson:Bubs was founded in 1992 by the Lindström family in Huskvarna, Sweden (near where IKEA started!). They mortgaged their house to buy their first candy machine and created fun, foamy gummies like these ovals. The name “BUBS” comes from their first initials: Bernt, Ulrik, Birgitta, and Stefan. Sweden has a long candy tradition, including the famous Swedish Fish (invented in the 1950s by another Swedish company, Malaco, specifically for the American market – they chose the fish shape because fishing is a big part of Swedish culture!). Bubs’ soft “foam” style is a modern Swedish favorite, and these vegan ovals are a playful, gelatin-free twist on that chewy heritage.Tips/Hacks:- Fill clear cellophane bags or plastic eggs with a handful for adorable Easter “homemade” gifts.- Mix with a few real berries or yogurt-dipped treats on a platter for a pretty candy board.- Use them as toppers on cupcakes or rice krispie nests for extra color and chew.- Keep the bag sealed tight – they stay soft for weeks.- Pair with pastel Easter decor for that perfect spring basket vibe.Final summary:Bubs Vegan Wild Berry Pomegranate Ovals are the perfect homemade type Easter candy – soft marshmallow-like texture, delicious Swedish Fish-style taste, vegan, and kid-approved. 5/5 – total win for Decorating Mamas making sweet memories without the junk… and now you can tell the grandbabies they’re enjoying a little piece of fun Swedish family candy history! 🐰🍓✨
