I have been seeing a lot of Swedish and Scandinavian reviews and praise for their candies recently and wanted to see if all of the hype was warranted. I love banana and toffee separately but wasn't sure gow they would be together.I expected the candy to be a harder, almost chocolate consistency and was surprised to find it more of a marshmallow like, pillowy consistency. I really enjoyed the consistency and airy texture more than I anticipated. It isn't overly sticky and didn't get stuck in my teeth which I appreciated.The banana flavor was more prevalent, but not in an artificial way. The toffee offered a pleasant under note that didn't overpower the natural banana flavor at all.The candy is free of artificial (gelatin and animal) additives, which I appreciate. These are honestly one of the better vegan sweet treats I have had.All in all these are great treat that my family enjoyed as well, great product for a great value!
These Bubs candies, imported from Sweden, surprised me with their size. I expected small pieces and instead they are a little over 2" long. They are shaped like flattened footballs and have a marshmallow-y, chewy texture. I don't get any of supposed toffee flavor; instead, the whole piece, whether I bite on the yellow or the brown side, tastes like almost-ripe bananas. That slightly tangy flavor added to the confusing nature of these ovals.And yet ... I find these weirdly satisfying. They aren't overly sweet, yet one piece makes me feel like I've eaten a lot. The soft chewiness makes it last in my mouth. They aren't addictive because I never feel the need for more despite liking them overall.
I’m a fan of these Swedish marshmallow-like gummies. They have a nice chewy texture and don’t stick to my teeth. The flavor combination is banana and toffee, but I primarily taste the banana while the toffee is a bit too subtle. The toffee here is more of an aroma than a flavor. The candies aren’t super sweet, which I prefer. The pieces are fairly large, enough for a few bites, but I admit it’s hard for me to stop at just one. I’m usually satisfied after a few pieces. They're rather pricey for what you get, but they're tasty and imported from Sweden.
I am normally not a banana flavored candy fan. I got these because the toffee made them sound like I might like them a little. OH my... they are so good. They are so good I had my son hide them so I wouldn't eat the whole bag at once. Yes, they are candy so there are ingredients that aren't the most healthy. It is what it is if you want a good candy. I do wish the package told you how many you could eat to reach the 100 calories per serving though. That is a miss on the company's part. I also think they are overpriced. BUT they are good. You can taste the banana but it isn't that weird, fake banana taste many candies have. Then you get that delicious toffee flavor.. so good. Overall I really like them but do not see myself spending that much on a bag of candy that is only 8 ounces.
I’m not a huge sugar or gummy candy person, but my husband is, and we both really enjoyed these! The banana toffee flavor is exactly as described. It has a nice banana flavor without being overwhelmingly artificial or overly strong.The texture was one of my favorite parts. These are much softer and easier to chew than something like a typical gummy worm. They’re easy to bite into and aren’t sticky on the outside, although the inside can be a little sticky where you’ve bitten into one.The candy tasted fresh and definitely wasn’t stale. The bag also reseals well, which is nice for keeping them fresh, and the packaging stands out compared to a lot of other candy bags.My only small complaint is that I think the individual pieces would be even better if they were about half the size. They’re a little large for what I personally prefer, but it’s not a huge issue.Overall, really tasty candy with a soft, easy-to-chew texture. I liked them at the coupon price and would be more likely to purchase again at that price.

European candy in general has better ingredients, and Scandinavian candy even more so. You can taste the difference; it’s less chemically and just simply tastes better. Bubs is a tried and trusted brand in Sweden, and these live up to its name. The size, consistency, and quality are on par with other Bubs candies. Meaning, each piece is a decent size, it has a (softer) chewy consistency, and the flavor is carried throughout the entire candy. In terms of this exact flavor, it smells exactly like banana and toffee. For taste, I found it was more of a banana and cream with a toffee overlay. Still very good if Banana/Toffee is your thing. 5/5 stars
These appear to be the real deal, straight from Sweden. I've had a lot of these in the past, but it's usually in a variety pack. Getting nothing but the banana variety is a bit different for me.They are, well let's just say the texture is different from anything I'm used to as far as American candies go. They aren't really gummies. They call them foam candies and that's about right. They have this kind of foamy texture. Imagine what Styrofoam would be like eating if it were candy. It's not dry like that, but the mouthfeel is so unique that it's difficult to explain. It's not a bad texture, it's just different.The flavor is almost pure banana. They are supposed to be banana toffee, but banana dominates. They are fairly sweet, but not sugar coated sweet.Value for money is always going to be questionable when ordering true Swedish candies. It's only a good deal if you really like them.

These ovals are chewy and sweet, and the banana flavor really comes through. The toffee flavor isn't as pronounced, but to me is just a slight background flavor. I thought it would be more of a creamy flavor, but it has a certain tang to it, just a slight sour note. They are dry on the outside, not sticky and don't get all over your hands, but they are nice and chewy soft. It's good, not great, but good.
This is DELICIOUS HEALTHY-ISH CANDY! I like that the include less artificial ingredients, dyes, etc., so as far as candy goes, I feel about as good as possible consuming these and treating my loved ones. The first time I had these, I was worried they might cause some sort of digestive upset, but I had no such issues, whatsoever. I LOVE THE TASTE, THE TEXTURE, THE SIZE, EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE! I HOGHLY RECOMMEND!If I could change one thing, I wish more came in a package!
If you're someone who enjoys gummy candy and marshmallows, I think you'll really like these "vegan foam sweets." They have a unique soft-but-firm texture that is like a very dense, non-sticky marshmallow. They have a satisfying chew to them, without getting stuck in my teeth. I was concerned that these banana toffee candies might have too much of an artificial banana flavor, like a cheap Halloween taffy, but the banana is actually quite fresh tasting, almost with a hint of citrus. The combination of flavors is subtle but very tasty.I've been enjoying these when the urge for something sweet comes up, and I find that they're very satisfying so I am happy to eat just one or two at a time.
Wow, these “sweet foam” candies are really yummy! Off the top of my head, I can’t think of a comparable American candy. It’s my first time trying a sweet with this exact consistency. It is almost like a marshmallow, very soft and pillowy and also slightly chewy. The flavor combination is unusual - bananas and caramel aren’t often paired in candies - but really nice. I could easily eat my way through an entire bag without thinking.The candies taste very fresh, even after being imported from Sweden they retain the soft texture. I really recommend giving these a try if you like fruity candies and want something novel and new.

This oval foam Swedish candy is very flavorful. The texture is a bit different, almost like stale marshmallow in that it’s soft but chewy. The banana dominates in a big way, if you want to experience the toffee flavor you have to eat each half separately.

The toffee adds a bit of sweetness to the candy too, though it's not very prominent next to the banana.I appreciate the use of vegan ingredients to make the candy. It's always a pleasure seeing a company make some effort to sustainability.I like the effort the brand put into the packaging, it has character with a hint to it's Swedish origins. I also like that they used paper construction rather than some plastic material.My only concern is with the price. You get a bit of candy in each bag, but I don't think there is enough to warrant a $15+ price tag. Though I'm sure the effort put into this product is high and thus warrants a high price tag.Overall, I think these are great sweets and I would highly recommend them.
I absolutely love swedish candy. Swedish candies are probably some of my favorite candies, and especially bubs! These taste really good. The banana flavor is pretty strong, which I like, and the toffee flavor works really well with it. It actually tastes like banana instead of just being vaguely sweet and fruity.I also really like the texture. They're fluffy and chewy in a way that's really satisfying and a little different from most candy I've tried. They don't feel too hard or rubbery either.There's a pretty good amount in the bag, especially when you consider that it's imported candy. I went through them faster than I probably should have because I kept grabbing more. I think they're a good value and I would definitely get this flavor again.

I wasn't sure if Banana Toffee was going to be good or not. But we love Bubs, I've never had a bad Bubs flavor before. These are no exception, its actually really good. I mean you have to like Banana and Toffee, which I do, but the flavor is great. The texture is pure Bubs, and it's great. It's chewy and delicious. I really like that the bag is resealable, it makes it much easier for me to not walk by and grab a handful. I also appreciate the ingredients, I won't say they are healthy, but they are more healthy than a lot of candy out there.
